The Learning Circle was originally set up to give people a safe place to voice their opinions on issues which interest them and operated for many years at [email protected] before moving to 55 Plus Club.  A list of topics is drawn up every 2 months and members research as much or as little as they wish. The original Convener was Ellen Thomas, but she has retired from the group this year, and we miss her very much.

We bring our lunch, as we meet from 12.15 – 2.00, every Friday.  We usually enjoy hot cross buns before Easter, a Christmas in July as well as December, and this year a High Tea was introduced. As well, members bring a treat on their birthday for everyone to share. Strong friendships have been formed over the years, and we are happy to welcome new members.
