The game of 500 is often described as Australia’s national card game, perhaps because it is not only enjoyable, but it also provides great exercise for the mind with challenges such as, calculating what cards your partner may have to assist you in winning a bid, to thinking about how to take or even lose ‘tricks’ strategically.

Our group includes players of all levels of skill and daring. We welcome players who have not played for many years and newcomers keen to try something different and stimulating.  We are a lively and dedicated group, all willing to teach you the subtleties of playing bowers, the bird and misère.
