Yoga – Instructor: Sue Gair
The practice of yoga has many different styles and methods. Sue is IYTA trained to level 2 (advanced) teaching. IYTA (International Yoga Teachers Association) teaches and promotes Hatha Yoga.
Yoga helps to manage many conditions including arthritis, blood pressure, stress and anxiety, diabetes etc. It improves circulation, respiration and digestion. Yoga is not for healing many of the conditions of natural aging process but helps to slow down the progress and to manage these conditions. It promotes an overall feeling of wellbeing.
Sue is able to modify and/or adapt yoga poses for most of the various body shapes, health and capabilities that come with a + 55 body. She does not teach headstands or extreme pretzel type yoga poses.
