Uke 55 – Ukulele Group

Known as “the people’s instrument” and “the heart of Hawaii”, the ukulele has played an important role in the everyday lives of Hawaiian islanders since its introduction by Portuguese immigrants in the late eighteen hundreds.

Open to newbies and old hands alike, ukulele classes at the Club are tailored for all levels. Classes are conducted from 3.00 pm – 4.30 pm, twice a month on Fridays (check calendar or newsletter for dates). The ‘Musical Director’ is Garry Owen.

All welcome! $8.00 per session for club members and $10.00 for non-members.
