Saturday June 1 – 10.00 am – 12.00 pm  AND Sunday June 2 – 10.00 am – 4.00 pm

Join art teacher extraordinaire, Catherine Alexander, for another of her innovative and engaging workshops.  Over two days, Catherine will introduce you to the playful and creative process that is ‘Gelli printing’.

Gelli plate printing is a printmaking method using a soft gelatine plate that allows you to make prints without using a printing press. Prints can be made using a variety of materials and the possibilities are endless. The resulting prints can be unique artworks or used as a source for collage, paintings, or drawing.

  • Day One – you will make your own Gelli Plate to take home so you can continue printing long after the workshop.
  • Day Two – through step-by-step demonstrations and explanations, Catherine will guide you through ideas, techniques, and processes to create a suite of beautiful and expressive prints from the plate you have made.

Cost of the workshop is $110.00                                     Booking with payment by Friday 31 May
