Movement 4 Memory classes are designed to improve balance and memory through dance basics and music. The class starts with some traditional barre work (using the chair backs), then progresses to travelling steps and dance sequences in the centre of the room.
Playing bridge has many advantages. It develops and trains the skills of logic, planning, problem solving, memory and arithmetic. It also provides opportunities for social interactions between like-minded people, often resulting in valuable exchanges of general information, and the formation of friendships that are life-long.

This card game is popular in Australia, New Zealand and Canada and is similar to Hearts and Euchre.
The Club holds bridge classes in Gumnut Cottage for Beginners and Improvers.
We meet at 9.30 am on Friday mornings (except during school holidays) at the Canberra International Golf Centre, Cnr Hindmarsh Drive & Jerrabomberra Ave, Narrabundah (behind the Abode Motel).
Chair Yoga makes yoga accessible to almost everyone. It is recommended that on starting a yoga program that you attend regularly and give the exercise several months to achieve the desired outcomes.
Walks vary from 1 to 3 hours, covering 3-8 kms. Regular walkers are advised in advance of walking conditions (eg. Easy, moderate or challenging).
